Published / by FitGuru / Leave a Comment

Oncotarget is a website that has been created with the user in mind. It is a website that’s regularly updated with the latest findings of research in the scientific community. Unfortunately, many people are unaware of what is occurring in the science community. It is important for them to know exactly what is occurring in the community of science so that they too may have opportunities of making contributions to it if they are not already. However, in order to make contributions to the scientific community, it’s an essential necessity for them to ensure that they are understanding what has occurred in the history of science, what is occurring today, and what the goals and possibilities are for the future. By knowing these three things pertaining to science, one may get a better understanding of where we are as a human race in the world of science.

Oncotarget is a website that has been created with simplicity and minimalism in its designing so that navigating within the site will be made easy. Oncotarget is published by Impact Journals and the goal is to make as much advancements in the world of science as we can and should the designing aspect of the website been too complex there could potentially be time wasted in one’s researching due to difficulty of navigating within the premises of the website. Since the goal of Oncotarget is to make as much advancements and understanding of the world of science as we can, it is necessary for users to have an opportunity of navigating within the site quickly as there is so much for one to learn about in the field with limited time. It is very difficult to know everything there is about science in a single lifetime, however, if we give our best efforts of learning and strive to make contributions on a regular basis, we can have a part in an effort that is being conducted to better and progress us as a human race. Oncotarget wants to be a part of that progress and it is also available on Dove Press

Minimally Invasive Procedures Offered by North American Spine

Published / by FitGuru / 1 Comment on Minimally Invasive Procedures Offered by North American Spine

North American Spine is well known for its AcuraScope procedure which is a minimal invasive spine surgery. It’s a surgery used to treat persistent back pain and only last for 45 minutes. They have performed more than 8,000 AcuraScope procedures to this date and they only allow board-certified physicians with specialty training to perform these procedures. These physicians are spine experts and have their specialty training is in Orthopedic Spine Surgery, Interventional Pain Management or Neurology.

The reason as to why they’ve stuck with this method is because Medical research shows the procedure has a high success rate of 82 percent and had significantly reduced expenses which includes the patient’s expenses; medical visits and mediation. Moreover, these minimally invasive decompressions made by doctors is with the help of state-of-the-art visualization.

Thanks to the acquisition of North America Spine by Nobilis Health, a publicly traded company in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), they can now offer more treatment options (minimally invasive procedures) than it could before. They pointed out that no one procedure is effective for every patient and this was good news for patients with neck or back pains. The acquisition saw the company add two more procedures; CuraSpine and SecuraSpine along with AcuraSpine which they were already offering.

Both CuraSpine and AcuraSpine are minimally invasive decompression that are meant to ease the pressure on the spinal nerves. For patients with spine instability, a small incision is made in the patients to bring stability. That is the SecuraSpine procedure.

The greatest advantage to this procedure is that is nullifies the need to have an open back surgery and therefore reduces any chances of complications arising and reduces the recovery time. This is definitely good news for all those who were not suitable candidates for treatment while the traditional open back surgery was practiced.

The reason as to why Nobilis could have seen North America Spine as a potential for acquisition is because Nobilis focuses on providing low-cost outpatient settings thanks to their advanced technology.

North America Spine reviews show that they care for their community and donated 50 yoga mats to 4 and 5 year old Pre-K students from Robert E. Lee Elementary School. This was in honor of Yoga Recess Day where some of their staff hanged out with the kids.
